Composition
It is a white or whitish-colored oral solution powder containing 800 mg of phenoxymethylpenicillin per g of beaker (equivalent to about 887 mg of phenoxymethylpenicillin potassium).
Indications
Target type: Chickens
It is used for metafilaxis and treatment of necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens. The disease must have been diagnosed in animals before metafilactic use.
Administration Dose
It is used by mixing with drinking water.
The recommended dose is 13.5-20 mg/kg phenoxymethylpenicillin/day (17-25 mg/kg product/day). Practically for every 1000 kg of body weight, 17-25 grams of the product per day are used by adding it to drinking water. The duration of treatment is 5 days.
Method of administration: It is used orally by dissolving in drinking water. The prepared medicated drinking water should be consumed within 12 hours. The maximum solubility is 100 g of the product in 1 liter of drinking water.
Drug Residue Removal Time (I.K.A.S.)
Residue removal periods (including zero days): Chickens raised for meat during treatment and after the last drug administration should not be sent to slaughter for more than 2 days. The drug residue removal period for eggs is zero (0) days.
