Vimisin-B %70

Vimisin-B 70% contains amoxicillin that belongs to aminopenicillin of β-Lactam group.

Veterinary Medicated premix / Oral Powder

COMPOSITION:

Each gram contains 700 mg Amoxicillin trihydrate (equivalent to 611.89 mg Amoxicillin).

INDICATIONS:

It is used in freshwater and sea fish for treatment of diseases caused by Gram (+) and Gram (–) bacteria.

In trouts: red mouth disease (Yersinia rucheri), bacterial hemorrhagic Septicemia (Aeromonas hydrophila, A. punctata, A. sobria, Pseudomonas sp.), Columnaris disease (Flexibacter columnaris), cold water Vibriosis (Vibrio salmonicida), ulcer disease (Haemophilus piscium), diseases such as Lactococcus sp. and Enterococcus sp. Rainbow Trout Fry syndrome (Cytophaga psycrophila).

In freshwater and sea fish it used in diseases such as: Furunculosis (Aeromonas salmonicida), Photobacterium damselae subsp. piscicida, Vibriosis (Vibrio anguillarum, V. alginolyticus, V. ordalii, V. vulnificus.

Dosage and administration

Unless recommended otherwise by the Veterinary surgeon,

It is recommended that the dose should be divided into two (morning and evening) and mixed in feed for each kg body weight, based on the calculation of 80 mg daily. Administration period is 10 days. The amount of medicated feed may vary depending on the water temperature and the live weight of the fish. Fish should be left as starved for 12-24 hours before initiating treatment.

Pharmacological Dose: 80 mg mg/kg/day live weight

Practical dose:

Practically, 1 kg. Vimisin B 70% treats 7500 kg body weight with app. 80 mg./kg/day amoxicilline base dose calculation.

Preparation of the Medicated Feed: medicated feed should be prepared fresh daily. Previously weighed amount of VIMISIN-B 70% Oral Powder is added into a clean, dry and sensitive mixer or feed mixer. While the mixing process continues 1% oil is sprayed. After 2-5 minutes of mixing, the homogenous mixture of medicated feed is ready to be used.

Withdrawal Time:

During the treatment and after the treatment, fish should not be harvested for human consumption until the total daily water temperatures reach 500°C. (The withdrawal time for fish meat is 500˚C/day

Packaging Presentation:

Presented in 0.2, 0.5, 1 and 5 kg plastic containers sealed with an aluminum foil without cardboard and in 25 kg double coated Kraft bags.
